A picture of something I love

My favorite beach in California is Salt Creek Beach located in Dana Point. Oh how I miss thee.

It’s a long and sandy beach popular with surfers, locals and tourists. There’s a luscious green lawn on a hill with tables and grills, perfect for picnics and ice blocking. (UCI people- do you guys remember ice blocking?) From the picnic area, there are stairs that lead you down to the beach and at the bottom of the hill to your left, there’s a steep path that leads you up to the Ritz Carlton. You can walk through the hotel’s picturesque grounds and sit at one of the benches to take in the breathtaking coastal views. I love to sit up there and just gaze at the waves crashing against the beach. On a clear day you can even see Catalina Island. And if you want to do something active, then there’s a golf-course, basketball courts, beach volleyball courts, and running trails. There’s something for everyone.

Simply Beautiful.
